General Notes:
This Website is constructed with current technology. It incorporates HTML4 and CSS Ver.2 browser technology.
Minimum Browser:
IE6 with current updates is recommended. IE 5.5 (with current MS updates) or later is required as a bare minimum. The latest Mozilla should also work.
Minimum Display Resolution:
800 x 600 dpi (with window expanded to full screen) is the minimum resolution useable for this site. Anything less is low grade Television technology (my apologies to WebTV and SVideo users). Please note that CSS Ver.2 will react 'quirky' to less than 800 x 600. The ideal resolution for viewing of our site is 1024 x 768.
JavaScript:
Some JavaScript is used on this website. Script use is minimal and except for polls are local to this site. No 'calls' for javascript are being made to servers outside our website. This being said please feel safe allowing JavaScript to run when visiting our web pages. Links 'from' this website can not be guaranteed the same. Also please note, if you do not allow javascript, pictures and some windows will not open and pages will not operate properly.
Windows XP SP2 (Service Pack 2)
WinXP-SP2 has changed the way your browser works with Iframes and Javascript (See Javascript notes above). To solve the warning bar problem with the new IE pop-up blocker perform the following actions:
Start Internet Explorer, then click on TOOLS, then POP-UP BLOCKER, then POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS.
The Exception List window will appear.
Add " http://www.ravensroost55.org " to the EXCEPTION LIST.
This will allow Iframes and javascript to function at this site only.
Email:
Please Note: Click-on Email addresses throughout the website will only work if you have an email server setup on your computer (such as outlook or eudura). If your email service is not setup it may look like a message goes through but it does not. You will have to enter your email service in a new window and manually enter (or cut & paste): contact@ravensroost55.org (or whatever the address is) into the "TO:" field of your message window.
